"Flowerpots"
Chambres d’Hôtes

Enjoy the Gardens at Flowerpots

Through the back door of The Dining Room, you will find our terraced area with an original designed, purpose built barbecue and picnic table for a spot of al fresco dining on those balmy summer and autumn evenings!

Alternatively, you may prefer to amble around the garden. Through the back gate, you will find the lawn area with flower borders, trees and shrubs.

As part of the "Flowerpots" experience, we invite our guests to sample the delights of our freshly picked produce served at the evening table for dinner.

An extract from the Complete Book of Self Sufficiency by John Seymour sums it up for us....

"Self-sufficiency does not mean "going back" to the acceptance of a lower standard of living. On the contrary, it is striving for a higher standard of living, for food which is fresh and organically-grown and good, for the good life in pleasant surroundings, for the health of body and peace of mind which come from hard varied work in the open air, and for the satisfaction that comes from doing difficult and intricate jobs well and successfully"

 Parking for our Guests

We have a large gravelled driveway which provides a courtyard to the front and to the side of the house, and leads to the covered gate to the back garden. We are able to offer our guests private parking with lighting for up to 5 cars.

The driveway has also doubled as the ideal place for a game of boules in the summer!
